Work Work Work

So recently I've decided to run again, and run consistently and seriously. It's been brooding in the back of my head for awhile that I should get my butt back into shape and possibly walk onto the Cross Country team at Tufts this fall. Who knows if that will actually happen but I might as well set myself up to be prepared for that.

So in preparation I've settled back into a 7 a week run schedule with T, Th, and S being my weightlifting regimen. I've realized that working out early in the morning really get me ready for the day. On any particular day I'll get to work @ JPL around 7:30 am go for an hour or so run and come back to start the day by 9 am. The gym here is a small closet room but still it has some of the top of the line weight training equipment around.

ANYWAY....

Work has finally kicked into high gear. Disregard the fact that I'm only here 8 weeks and I've managed through 4 weeks already. I've finally gotten the right software and hardware to run correctly so that I can start working on the tasks my boss has given me since day one... that was a month ago. Anyway the work I'm doing is going to be time consuming and the proces is very slow. Thank goodness I've become accustomed to hours working on a few images, this'll definitely keep me busy for a while at work at least...

Some thought about the weekend...

1. Morongo- Here I come baby, I've been practicing, reviewing charts and strategies, i'm ready to dominate the blackjack table as well as craps and all sorts of poker. My goal make enough money to take Catherine and I on a trip up to San Luis Obispo country for the weekend when she gets back from Montana in mid August. Fingers crossed. This better be worth the investment.

2. I recently sat down and came up with a list of what I wanted to do before I headed off to college, as well as the people I wanted to see before I leave... Anyway it was a sobering soul searching of what I want to do and who I want to see.

To be continued...
